Harry Wilson will take over as the new chairman of Berwick Probus Club in January. His vice chairman will be Michael Wright.
They were elected at the annual meeting on Wednesday. It has been another successful year with quality speakers every week. And there had been three outings.
Members and officials were thanked for their support by chairman Rob Crozier. Now in his 90s, he has led the club with distinction. Treasurer Charles Fairfield said the club was in a sound financial position.
Officials elected were: chairman Harry Wilson; vice chairman Michael Wright; secretary George Martin; treasurer Charles Fairfield; almoner Colin Wakeling; honorary auditor Tony Lee. Committee: Rae Huntly, John Robertson, Ron Shaw, Ken Lamb.
After the meeting short talks on My First Car were given by Ron Shaw, Rae Huntly and Dr Jimmy Mitchell.
