What a wonderful afternoon it was. Members enjoyed the audience participation throughout the show and did their fair bit of hissing and booing at the evil Piccalilli and Rancid. They also got into the swing of the “he’s behind you” routine, and with great gusto, they joined in the singing of Dotty Dimple Has A Farm. They even won the ever-favourite competition between the two sides of the auditorium.

It is the predictability of panto which makes it so enjoyable – oh yes it is!

Ice creams at the interval were enjoyed and at the end of the show every one of our 23 members left the building with a smile on their face. The feedback we have received has been nothing short of amazing. Everyone loved the afternoon.

One of our carers said: “Thank you so much for this outing. This afternoon I was able to escape for a short while from my real world.”

Thanks to the generosity of local organisations and individuals who, over the last year, have given generous donations to our little charity, we were able to provide this special treat to our members free of charge, and so thank you all very much indeed.

Finally our congratulations to everyone at SVG for a superb production. Long may you continue to entertain the good folk of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
