The last book evaluated was The Siege by Helen Dunmore.

The book describes a young girl, Anna, her five-year-old brother and her father, who are trying to survive the siege of Leningrad.

It is winter, there is no food and the Germans are trying to starve the city to death. The story is about survival and every expenditure of energy has to be thought out.
