Latest news from Berwick BEA
There are still some tickets left for Gill Walton's Art workshop on July 5, Sculptors' Drawings: an exercise in mixed media.
This is one of our events drawing inspiration from work on display in the exhibition ‘Spirited – Women Artists from The Ingram Collection of Modern British Art’, which runs at the Granary Gallery. Entry to the exhibition is free.
We will use waxes, ink and coloured pencils to draw from a draped model. Bring papers, brushes and coloured pencils. Each workshop begins at 10am with a tour of the exhibition, followed by a two hour practical session. There will be a half hour break for lunch and you can bring your own lunch or eat in the Granary cafe. There will be a further practical session from 1pm to 3pm. Tickets for the workshop cost £30 and easels are provided. If you have any questions on the course content, please contact Gill on 07702 811374.
There is a separate guided tour of the exhibition at 1pm on July 5. This is one of a series of tours during the exhibition; it will be led by Prof Maria Chester.
