Lady Waterford painting presented

Sarah Stones has won an original watercolour sketch (c. 1840) by Louisa Marchioness of Waterford.

Geoff Bavidge, curator of the Lady Waterford Hall in Ford, and Sarah Stones, winner of the Lady Waterford Bicentenary Raffle.

She was the winner of the Lady Waterford Bicentenary Raffle, held to mark the bicentenary of Lady Waterford’s birth.

Mrs Stones, who was presented with the painting by curator Geoff Bavidge, said: “I had forgotten all about my raffle ticket as I’d bought it so long ago, so it was a lovely surprise to receive a phone call saying that I had won.”
