A cascade of knitted and crocheted poppies has been created for St Peters Church, Scremerston, by members of the local Knit, Knatter and Kake group.

Over the last few weeks they have made 2,000 poppies, some of which can also be seen decorating the interior of the church, the church gates and the war memorial.

This is part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
