Jaguars descend on Berwick
A classic E-Type Jaguar in Insignia Red, the original car from the film The Italian Job, called in at Marshall Meadows Hotel, near Berwick recently.
The car was driven by its owner Philip Porter, author and Jaguar historian.
It was taking part in the E-type Club Round Britain Coastal Drive, supporting Prostate Cancer UK.
More than 160 beautiful E-type Jaguars from around the world participated in the 18-day, 3,600-mile event, which started and finished at the famous Goodwood circuit.
Some did just one stage, others all 18.
Supporters of the RBCD include Jools Holland, Brian Johnson, Jeremy Clarkson, Martin Brundle, Murray Walker and F1 legend Ross Brawn.
The Jaguar E-type Club was formed in 2004 and has members in over 50 countries and organises events worldwide.
Owned by pop and rock stars, footballers and many leading actors, the E-type was very much a part of the Swinging Sixties.
