Holy Trinity turns into Hogwarts
There was witchcraft and wizardry in the air when a Berwick school held its own Harry Potter Day on Tuesday.
There was a plethora of Potters and a host of Hermiones at Holy Trinity First School along with the occasional Dumbledore, Snape and Professor McGonagal (Mrs Ringland) as it turned into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the day.
Meanwhile, the opening weekend of the Bailiffgate Museum’s new Harry Potter exhibition in Alnwick has broken attendance records at the venue. The exhibition, by Seven Stories: The National Centre for Children’s Books in Newcastle, and Bloomsbury Children’s Books, showcases original illustrations, sketches, models and final prints from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
