The group meets in Berwick Library on the third Friday of every month from 6pm to 7pm.

The last book reviewed by the group was the 2001 historical novel The Siege by Helen Dunmore, and it was given seven out of 10.

The book describes how a young girl Anna, her five-year-old brother and her father try to survive the 1941 siege of Leningrad in Russia by the Germans.
