Glendale Gateway Trust gets legacy
The late Margery Stephenson has left a legacy of £10,000 to the Wooler-based Glendale Gateway Trust.
Margery was a great supporter of the Trust from its earliest days. She and her husband Ted loved Wooler and holidayed there for many years before making it their home in retirement.
Margery designed the original curlew logo for the Northumberland National Park in response to a competition. She taught art at Leeds Grammar School, and her artwork has been published by many organisations, including the Medici Gallery.
