Funds for WW1 anniversary event in Berwick
Berwick Town Council has agreed to spend up to £1,100 on an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.
It follows a request by Army veteran and Berwick resident Michael Stewart for the town hall to be opened on Armistice Day, Sunday, November 11
He made the request so all service personnel, past, present and future, could commemorate the event.
