Ford school welcomes the Bishop of Berwick

The recently-appointed Suffragan Bishop of Berwick, the Rt Rev Mark Tanner, made his first visit to Hugh Joicey C of E First School in Ford last Monday.

He attended the morning collective worship where he joined in an enthusastic rendition of Peace is Flowing Like a River with actions.

He went on to meet the staff and children and was given a tour of the refurbished school.

“The children sang very enthusiastically and were delighted to have a special visitor,” said headteacher Jacqueline Dalrymple.
