Food producers on show at Fenwick's

Following the double gold success of Lady Waterford Preserves, made by Lynne Allan at The Old Dairy in Ford, the prestigious Fenwick Food Hall of Newcastle has invited her to take part in an artisan market which celebrates fine food suppliers in the north east.

Lynne Allan, who makes jams and marmalades under the label of Lady Waterford Preserves at The Old Dairy Concept Store in Ford - Double Gold winners in the Artisan section at the Worlds Original lMarmalade Awards.

The market, called Made in the North East, is taking place until May 1, during which Lady Waterford Preserves will feature for four days from April 21-25.

The double gold was awarded for a savoury marmalade made with Seville oranges, beetroot and lemons at the The World’s Original Marmalade Awards which are held at Dalemain in Cumbria every year. And since her marmalade goes particularly well with cheese plans are afoot to pair it with cheeses from Doddington Dairy which will also be present.
