Fool’s Gold is made up of Carol and Steve Robson, who play original and traditional music.

They play a variety of instruments during their shows – guitars, flute, whistles, bass and ukulele feature regularly.

A Fool’s Gold show is rooted in music, but is more than just a concert performance.

The live show uses music, story and projected visuals to weave an experience for all ages.

As well as performing the songs live, the musicians reveal the histories and mysteries, tragedies and romances that gave rise to original and well-known songs.

The show has a theme, which adds to the interest, and aims to engage the audience from the beginning.

Go along and expect to sing, laugh and enjoy a varied night of music and their tales.

The duo will be at BURC on Friday, March 1, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available at Spittal Food Store or call 07752 403409.
