First phase of £2.5m Alnwick development nears completion
Thomas Percy Close, which is being project managed by Newcastle-based Silverstone Building Consultancy, will provide a total of 15 new three and four-bedroom homes on the former site of Thomas Percy School on Blakelaw Road, 10 of which have already been snapped up.
The first phase of the development, which is being marketed by Bradley Hall, is due to complete tomorrow (Friday), allowing the first eight occupiers to move in before Christmas.

Hide AdNorthumberland-based developer, Lindisfarne Homes, received planning permission from Northumberland County Council for the redevelopment of the 2.3-acre site exactly a year ago.
Nick Dawe, director of Lindisfarne Homes, said: “We are delighted to have been able to breathe new life into this significant site by bringing forward this exclusive development.
“As anticipated, it is proving very popular and we are confident the remaining five homes will be sold soon.”
Silverstone Building Consultancy is co-ordinating delivery of the project, with Gentoo Tolent Construction appointed as main contractor.
