Fifty years' service to the Royal Signals

Two members of the Berwick branch of the Royal Signals Association have received awards for 50 years' service.

The awards were given for their long and outstanding service, not just to the Berwick branch but to the Corps and the Royal Signals Association as a whole.

The awards were presented at the branch’s 16th anniversary luncheon at Marshall Meadows Hotel. Guest speaker was John Smail who gave a very interesting talk on the history of the Tweeddale Press and the life of his father Colonel J.I.M Smail MC,OBE,TD.
