Feast attendants ready for big day

It's just two weeks to go until the Tweedmouth Feast celebrations get under way with the crowning of the Salmon Queen.

The senior attendants at the 2017 Tweedmouth Feast are Georgie Hepburn and Jessica Wallace. The junior attendants are Sara Eldessouky and Maddie Ferrell.

Bobbie Blackhall will be crowned on Thursday, July 20 in the Queen’s Gardens, West End, Tweedmouth at 7pm.

She will take over from the 2016-2017 Salmon Queen, Nicole Ainslie.

For the first time a Deputy Salmon Queen has been selected – she is Reagen Butler.

The senior attendants are Georgie Hepburn and Jessica Wallace. The junior attendants are Sara Eldessouky and Maddie Ferrell.

The organisers of the annual Tweedmouth Feast celebrations have also put out an appeal for entries to the float parade to be held on Sunday, July 23.

The parade will commence at 2pm from Wallace Green and finish at the West End of Tweedmouth at approximately 3.30pm, where there will be entertainment throughout the day.

This year, the procession will be led by Berwick Pipe Band and there will be a fancy dress parade as well as the tradition floats.
