Fake Facts take the honours at annual quiz night

The annual Glendale Agricultural Society quiz night had participants on the edge of their seats, with a team called Fake Facts pipping Universally Challenged to the title on a tie-breaker.

Sixteen teams took part in the event, held at the Tankerville Arms in Wooler. The winning team was David Wilson, Tom Johnson, David Farr and Neil Tait who received a day for four at the races, kindly donated by Kelso Races.

They were presented with their prize by James Murphy and Gemma Rawlinson of quiz night sponsors H&H Land and Property and H&H Insurance Brokers.

“The quiz was a fantastic evening with some strong competition, and lots of fun was had by all,” said Rachael Tait, society secretary.
