Expanded charity day in Alnwick to feature golf and family fun
Organised by Steve Miller, of AA Taxis, and taking place at Alnwick Castle Golf Club, the golf family fun day takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1.
This year, all the proceeds will go to the Evie Campbell Fund. The five-year-old from Shilbottle, who goes to school in Alnwick, has the rare blood disorder Diamond-Blackfan anaemia (DBA) and needs a bone-marrow transplant.

There will be prizes for first, second and third place, as well as closest to the pin and longest drive. Entry costs £80 per team to include a meal following the round.
Steve expects the places will go quickly so get your slot booked as soon as possible. Payment must be made at the time of booking.
Hopefully helping to raise more money for a worthy cause and to take advantage of the bank holiday, this year will also see a family fun day from 11am until 3pm.
