Ex-school site in need of a guardian
A call has been made for guardians to look after the former Seahouses First School site.
Northumberland County Council is currently reviewing plans for the site which has been empty since the Busy Bees playgroup moved out in December.
It is currently in talks with Ad-Hoc, a property security company which provides guardians for unusual properties at minimal rents.
Coun Guy Renner-Thompson said: “Being in such a prominent location, I am keen that we don’t have to resort to hard measures, such has heras fencing and CCTV, which would be an eyesore in the middle of a picturesque village dependent on tourism.
