Enjoy Easter hunt at re-opened castle
After being closed for 18 months a North Northumberland attraction will be re-opening at the Easter weekend.
And Lindisfarne Castle will once again be joining in with the National Trust’s Cadbury Egg Hunt.
This year the hunt will see families joining in the fun through muddy woodlands, around mystical lakes, along nature trails and through spring gardens blooming with life.
The castle’s Easter trail will take place on Sunday, April 1, and Monday, April 2.
The bunny has had a great time exploring the castle and has left a trail to follow. Will you be able to decipher the clues and solve the riddle to gain you Cadbury chocolate prize?
The castle will be re-opening on April 1 after being closed for 18 months for conservation work.
The £3million programme of repairs and conservation was supported by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, the Wolfson Foundation, the Path Trust and donations from supporters.
The investment and work that has taken place has helped the National Trust care for this special place on behalf of the nation for ever. For more, see www.nationaltrust.org.uk/lindisfarne-castle
