Dredger removes silt from Tweed Dock

A dredger is clearing Tweed Dock of built up silt to ensure it remains navigable.

Gypsey Race arrived at Tweed Dock onThursday for a 28-day dredging programme which will see approximately 6,000tonnes of spoil removed.

The silt is taken seven miles out to sea and dumped into deep water.
