Dogs need different types of new homes
Lady is a large dog, a cross between a Labrador, a collie and a larger dog possibly, who's not two until September.
She is a lovely girl, very friendly and loving and has been around children. Although strong on a lead, she is learning very quickly. She needs an active home and would enjoy going a bit further with her training.
Another youngster, who is two is October, is Jess, a small Labrador cross. Although a little bit timid at first, she soon comes out of her shell. She would benefit from a quieter home.
She has become distressed and barks when being left home alone all day so time will need to be taken to build up the amount of time she is left. Having said that, she has settled quickly in kennels and with a couple of “Sshh Jess” we haven’t heard much from her at all.
Titan is a beautiful English bull terrier. He is learning to walk well on a lead and just loves everybody. He could go with another dog, but probably a female, and one that is a good size as he is a big boy. He loves to play.
Titan has a few problems with his eyes because of his breeding, and he is deaf in one ear, which he uses to his advantage when it suits him. He loves to play, sleep and generally be loved. He needs an understanding home as he does have a tendency to cause mayhem.
We have some lovely, friendly cats in our cattery, ranging from nine month old Lucky, who lives with his mum Fluffy, to golden oldie Spikey.
We also have Fudge, who is around 10 years old and so very loving and cuddly. She will happily cuddle into a neck and make sure it is kept clean.
Sox and Tubby are about nine years old and enjoy each other’s company so we would like to keep them together.
Similarly, Whisky and Ginger do find comfort in having a long term friend as a companion.
It would be so nice to find some of our bunnies a home. All are neutered and vaccinated with Mixi/VHD. We have bunnies from as young as six months up to about four years.
