Digital boards dispute settled
Berwick Town Council has paid nearly £2,000 to settle a dispute with Wireless Logic after digital information boards were hacked and used to access the web, running up a big data bill. The amount claimed by Wireless Logic was £3,699 but it settled for £1,931.

The boards, on Marygate and at the entrance to the Castlegate car park, were purchased by Berwick Deserves Better for £30,000 with Portas funds.
