Crookham set to stage its art andcraft festival
Stunning local arts and crafts are on display in Crookham this bank holiday weekend when the village stages its annual free arts and crafts festival.
Taking place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, a free exhibition of some of Lowick Quilters’ best works will accompany displays of local art and craft works in Crookham Village Hall.
Crookham Art Club isstaging a variety of impressive works, the village Knit and Natter group is displaying a year’s needlework and the Gardening Club is presenting a variety of mini gardens-in-pots on a Celebrations theme.
Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be available.
Next door, at the same time, Crookham United Reformed Church is opening its Peace and Reconciliation garden for visitors to explore and enjoy.
Inside the church, Mary Fleison’s banners from Holy Island are the star attraction, alongside a variety of exhibits commemorating Ninety Years of Faith.
