Councillor calls for alleged bullyingcase to be dismissed
A Berwick town councillor has called for allegations of bullying against him to be dismissed.
Cllr David Blackburn was one of two councillors accused of bullying by the former interim town clerk.
“Several demands have been made by me, to fellow councillors to provide that evidence and they have failed to do so,” he said. “On the other hand I have provided them with evidence to the contrary.
I have been significantly hurt by the allegations, that arose after I had insisted upon the NCC blockage of my email being placed on the agenda, and I shall be seeking a resolution before full council to the effect that they have found no evidence.”
