Coastal bus trip for tourism operators

People working in tourism are being encouraged to increase their knowledge of local bus services so they can confidently tell their customers how to travel around without a car this summer.

Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership has teamed up with Arriva North-East to offer a free trip along the coast to anyone who works in tourism. Information on routes and timetables will be provided.

The i newsletter cut through the noise

Anyone working in tourism is invited to join the MAX X18 Coast and Castles service that departs Alnwick at 12.02pm on April 26. The bus calls at Longhoughton, Craster, Beadnell, Seahouses and Bamburgh, and people can join at any point along the route. It will stop for refreshments at Sunnyhills Farm Shop at Belford, before getting back into Alnwick at 4pm.
