Civic society to hold AGM

The annual general meeting of The Berwick-upon-Tweed Civic Society will be held on Wednesday, at 7pm in The Parish Centre.

Unfortunately, Andrew Beckwith who was due to give the talk following the AGM business is unable to attend.

However, the society is delighted that Cliff Hague has agreed to give a talk entitled Making a Civic Voice Heard; The Work of Edinburgh’s Cockburn Association.

Cliff Hague OBE has been chairman of the Cockburn Association since June 2016. He is Emeritus Professor of spatial development and planning at Heriot-Watt University and a freelance consultant who mainly works internationally. He is a past president of the Royal Town Planning Institute and of the Commonwealth Association of Planners and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Science.

All welcome. Entrance is free to members and £2 for visitors. Refreshments.
