Coun Karin Graham, who represents Grove ward on Berwick Town Council, helped collect gifts for children at Highcliffe/Eastcliffe, Prior Park, Three Fields and the West End area of Tweedmouth.

She said: “Without the support of Radio Borders Mission Christmas, many children and teenagers would receive very little or even nothing on Christmas Day, in this area.

“A huge personal thank you from me, especially to Rebekah o’ Toole for her support this year.

“It’s totally amazing what she’s organised with this project for the Borders region.

“I’m delighted that there will be a lot of smiling faces when Santa arrives this Christmas to our estates.

“Remember when out shopping to give a thought to those who are hungry and don’t receive any gifts. Projects like these allow you to donate by just buying one extra gift whilst out shopping.

“Most of us are lucky enough to be able to donate and it makes a world of a difference to those in need.”
