CHIC frontman Nile Rodgers sends video message to Alnwick promising 'Good Times'

Legendary musician Nile Rodgers has recorded a special video message ahead of the concert with his band CHIC at Northumberland's historic Alnwick Castle this summer.

In it, he says: "We're gonna have a great night at the stunning venue playing all the hits and I hope to see you all there.

"Madness, mayhem, a whole bunch of hits - and good times - that's what we do when we play live.

The disco legends will headline a night of uber-cool disco, hip hop and rock in the Pastures in the shadow of Alnwick Castle on Wednesday, July 11, as part of the Summer House Sounds series of concerts.

Nile Rodgers and CHIC, famous for hits including Everybody Dance, Le Freak and Good Times, have enjoyed global success for more than 40 years. They remain as relevant today as they did when they first hit the scene back in 1976.

Sonic innovator and Grammy Award winner Nile Rodgers transcends all styles of music across every generation with a body of work that’s garnered him inductions in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2017) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame (2016).
