Chef pops up at Old Dairy
Thirty years ago, the Wheatsheaf in Swinton was fast becoming the only place to eat in the Scottish Borders. Fast-forward to today and chef Alan Reid has brought his culinary skills to The Old Dairy in Ford where he is in charge of the pop-up suppers.
It’s all part of what owners Keith and Lynne Allan call their concept store where they have a number of antique dealers surrounding their coffee shop, bistro and recently-completed champagne bar and lounge.
