The Funding Fair will be held at Seahouses Hub on Wednesday, November 30, with booked appointments from 1pm until 4.30pm.

Marc Johnson, funding officer at Northumberland CVA, said: “The funders attending our latest funding fair give out grants from a few hundred pounds up to several million, but we’re really keen that small local organisations benefit from this event.”

Big Lottery Fund, Heritage Lottery Fund, BBC Children in Need and Greggs Foundation are among the funders that will be available to talk directly to groups about applying for funding and how to have the best chance of submitting a successful application.

Anne Lyall, chief executive officer at Northumberland CVA, said: “Our Funding Fairs are one of the ways we support community groups across Northumberland, providing an ideal opportunity for groups to speak directly with funders, get advice from them and meet our experienced team who will be able to provide further support.”
