The three to nine-year-olds learnt about the different jobs and hopefully got some inspiration for the future.

The theme for the day was that you’re never too young to think big.

St Ceolwulf’s is one of the smallest Church of England schools in Newcastle Diocese.

Headteacher Sarah Jones said the day was aimed at showing pupils what careers are out there and inspire them.

She said: “Even from three, they can start to think about what do I want to be when I grow up, but also it’s about aiming high and understanding that if you work really hard you ca do whatever you want to do.”
