CAB: Clarifying accessibility

With reference to your recent reader's letter '˜Campaigners were right' by Pam Vassie (Berwick Advertiser, May 3), we thought it important to clarify the accessibility and availability of arrangements for Citizens Advice in Berwick to ensure that residents are fully aware of the extent of the services and methods of contact they can use to access our services.

To counteract any persisting misunderstandings, and to ensure that anyone with any issues in Berwick is able to receive our support, Citizens Advice is open at 5 Tweed Street on Wednesday and Friday every week, 9.30am to 3.30pm, for face-to-face drop-in surgeries on any and all issues impacting on the lives of Berwick residents.

Specialist advice on debt, health, welfare benefits and fuel poverty advice is available face-to-face by appointment, and our telephone and digital advice is available five days a week, from 9.30am to 4.30pm, on 03444 111444.
