Brothers are baptised in a burn
History was repeated when two brothers were baptised in a stream at Pallinsburn.
This is the same stream in which St Paulinus baptised many northern converts, including Edwin, King of Northumbria, in 627.
It was part of the Rogation Sunday service involving churches from Branxton, Cornhill and Carham. Parishioners went from church to village hall, play park and Flodden monument. At each point there were prayers, hymns and a blessing by the Vicar, Rev Rob Kelsey.
