Lorna Taylor, a volunteer with Pancreatic Cancer Action, got in touch with Tim Kirton who helped to make it happen and local photographer David Sanderson was there to capture the atmospheric scene.

“I lost my sister to pancreatic cancer four years ago so I wanted to get involved in volunteering for the charity,” said Lorna.

The bridge will be lit again on November 17 for World Pancreatic Cancer Day.
