This will mean no services on Christmas Day, an earlier finish to some services on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and slightly reduced service levels for some days between Christmas and New Year.

Claire Lark, operations manager at Borders Buses, said: “On behalf of Borders Buses, we would like to thank all our customers for their support during 2017 and wish them a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

“We have tried to ensure we offer a level of service for our customers which matches their travel requirements while giving our teams some time off to celebrate the festive season.”
