Seahouses Lifeboat Station was alerted at 10.09am today, Saturday, May 8, when its inshore lifeboat was asked to launch.
However, a short time later, the volunteer crew received an update saying another boat had helped the person, who had been on the coast south of Lindisfarne.

Hide AdA spokesperson for the team said: “"At 10.09am, UK Coastguard requested the launch of Seahouses Inshore Lifeboat to assist a person reported cut off at Blacklaw, south of Holy Island.
"This is a nature reserve beside Ross Links, north of Budle Bay.
“The Inshore Lifeboat launched and made best speed towards the incident, but just before arriving on scene, a further report was received from the Coastguard, that an unknown boat had recovered the person.
"The Inshore Lifeboat was stood down and returned to station."
