Blythswood is calling in for festive shoeboxes

The Blythswood Care van will visit Morrisons in Berwick on Thursday, November 9, from 9am to 9.30am to receive donations of filled shoe boxes.

They will be sent out to partner organisations in Pakistan and eight countries in eastern Europe, where they will be distributed to children and adults living in poverty.

Blythswood, which combines the Christian message with practical help for those in need at home and abroad, would like to thank all who have supported the appeal in 2017 and looks forward to receiving the boxes, which will bring happiness to thousands of people.

In 2016, Blythswood Care partners distributed 121,474 boxes, including the two millionth box, which went to a 10-year-old boy in northern Romania. However every box is an individual gift and special to the person who receives it. More details at
