Bird-feeding kit for school garden

Coldstream Primary School nursery pupils took delivery of a bird-feeding kit for their school garden recently from Rob Smith, who runs WE Howden Pet Food Supplies. The firm won the kit in a competition run by its wholesale suppliers Bestpets. Rob Smith, along with Hazel Nish of Bestpets, delivered the goods.

Nursery pupils at Coldstream Primary School investigate the bird seed and feeders donated to the school by local pet supply company Howdens, after the company won a competition run by their wholesalers.

Bestpets had asked for nominations for local schools to receive the bird feeding kits and as both Rob’s daughters had gone to Coldstream Primary and his grandson is currently a pupil there he decided to nominate the school.

The starter kits contain bird seed, feeders, suet balls, meal worms and all sorts of other bird goodies.
