Beth joins summer music feast line-up
A new singer has been added to a summer music festival line-up.
Beth Macari will be joining musicians at this year’s Lindisfarne Festival.
Beth will bring soul and sass to Beal farm when the festival takes place in September.
Conleth Maenpaa owner of Nokomis and Bor which runs the Lindisfarne festival said: “We are delighted to have Beth on board.
“We left a space open in our schedule for a truly excellent local talent and after much searching all roads led to Beth.
“She will add soul and depth to already fantastic line up and I am delighted to have her play our nationally award nominated festival.”
He added: “We are fiercely proud of the local music scene and we can’t ask for anyone better than Beth.
“Her performance on Saturday will be part of a fantastic weekend. We ask the North East public to get behind all the acts and the festival so we can give all the NE talent the platform they deserve.”
Beth said: “I am really excited to be performing at such a great festival. The line-up looks fantastic.
“I’ve been rehearsing like crazy with my band and I’m really looking forward to performing some brand new music at the festival. It will be an amazing weekend.”
Lindisfarne Festival takes place on Beal farm opposite Holy Island from September 1 to 4.
The line-up has a wide range of international and local acts including Reef, British Sea Power, the Cuban Brother, Beardyman, Little Comets, Kathryn Tickel and Cattle and Cane.
Also on offer will be a wide variety of comedy, poetry, street performers as well world cuisine and real ales.
