Berwick’s Got Talent!

Amazing youngsters at The Salvation Army in Berwick demonstrated their talents in an effort to raise funds for the RNLI.

Young people at The Salvation Army in Berwick showed their talents in an effort to raise funds for the RNLI.

Around 15 acts took part, including instrument solos, highland dancing, sung solos and gymnastic displays.

This was followed by tea, coffee, sweet treats and hot dogs, including tray bakes made by Junior Soldiers as part of their Salvation Army award work.

Lieutenant Andrew Manley, the corps officer at Berwick, said: “All I can say is...wow...they were simply amazing.

“It was a great night with great young people.”

Around 30 people came to watch and £120 was raised for the RNLI.

Richard Cox, Ryan Dalrymple (Stormy Stan) and John Campbell from Berwick lifeboat crew watched the show and praised the entrants before giving some sea safety advice

“We want to say a huge thank-you to Richard, John and Stormy for their presentation and information on their important lifesaving service – and a special thank-you to Stormy for his dancing,” said Lt Manley.
