Berwick kennels' fund-raisers need your support
We currently have two Busters in kennels.
Buster #2 is a two-year-old Jack Russell type. He’s a lively lad who we are currently still getting to know.
We have a few dogs in at the moment who have needed a bit more than a quick groom through and our thanks to Clarie, at Wot-A-Clip, for taking on the challenges of Rex, a six-year-old Husky-cross-German Shepherd, and Angus, a one-year-old white Shepherd. Both are feeling so much better and lighter now their coats are looking so fantastic.
Kayleigh is a five-year-old rough coated terrier in need of an experienced terrier home. She can be so sweet, but needs to know her place.
Dixi is a fluffy white bunny, of unknown age. She was at the vet’s last week for a blocked tear duct, her teeth and to be spayed, but is doing well so will be ready to be rehomed very soon.
We have some cats in, very loving and affectionate, singles and pairs. One of our favourites is Tabby Heidi, an older girl who has come to terms with her disability she has had since birth. It definitely doesn’t stop her enjoying life to the full and doesn’t affect her general health. A special, only pet home will be rewarded with a super companion.
A wonderful and very much loved little companion, Berti, passed away recently and as a tribute to his memory a barbecue was organised by Tony and Mrs B of Ladykirk, with all donations going to BARK. An amazing £562 was raised.
We are always delighted when we are approached with ideas for fund-raising. We currently have three fund-raisers on Total Giving, including Shona Campbell climbing Ben Nevis, 11-year-old Kealyn Fox who is going to complete the world’s fastest zip line and conquer his fear of heights, and Sara and Michael Aitkinson who will be taking part in the 26-mile Kielder Challenge.
We would very much appreciate your support of them, and us, by way of donations . For details see our website or Facebook pages.
