Guy Thompson challenged himself to do a mini-triathlon in support of the charity.

The six-year-old, a pupil at Tweedmouth West First School, had the idea on Friday evening and set himself a route.

His mum Kyra explained: “We set up a JustGiving page and by the powers of social media, managed to let friends and family know.

“On Saturday, Guy swam 50 meters in the Swan Centre, cycled two laps (2.5 miles) around the Berwick walls and then finished off with a 500 metre run.
