Berwick and north Northumberland villages hit by power cut
The centre of Berwick, as well as Cornhill, Belford and Wooler, are currently without electricity supplies following a power cut.
On Twitter, Scottish Energy Networks said: ‘We are aware of a fault on our HV Network, our engineers are making their way to site and will work to restore supplies.
‘Engineers are en-route to investigate #POWERCUT #TD12 #Cornhillontweed #TD15 #Berwickupontweed #NE70 #Belford and #NE71 #Woolar (sic). Apologies.’
In response to an inquiry, it was added that the aim is to have all customers restored by 3.15pm.
