Banding together in the fight against cancer
A high street store is again backing a cancer campaign.
For the fourth year running, M&Co is supporting Cancer Research UK on World Cancer Day – February 4.
The charity is asking the nation to unite and wear a unity band to show their support for beating cancer.
With its reef knot design, the band represents the strength we have when we unite.
There are more than 200 types of cancer, but more than 65 million people in the UK.
Cancer Research UK is working to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured and is spreading the message that every unity band takes us a step closer.
Every unity band funds more research, more treatments and more cures. More bands mean more lives saved.
The bands come in three colours – cyan, magenta and dark blue – and are adjustable in size. They are available in M&Co store in Marygate, Berwick, and online for a suggested donation of £2.
