Eyemouth's two RNLI lifeboats were called out on Thursday, May 10, to reports of a microlight ditching in the sea off the Bewickshire coast.

The boats were quickly on scene about one mile north of the England/Scotland border. After a detailed search the all-weather lifeboat recovered a two foot balloon from the water.
