BBC Antiques Roadtrip Charles Hanson and James Braxton arrive at Tweedmouth's 'Auction House and Antique Centre Berwick' with owner Stephen Lonsdale (centre)

Episodes of Antiques Road Trip were filmed in and around the town last week with presenters Charles Hanson and James Braxton travelling around in their vintage car.

Regular viewers will know the programme pits two antiques experts against each other. They get a budget of £200 with which to buy antiques and collectibles, that are then sold at auction. After each auction, the amount in each expert’s kitty after costs are deducted becomes their budget for the next leg. The winner is the expert who makes the greater profit.

They called in at Berwick Antique Centre on Castlegate to pick up a few items, including a military jacket and cocoa sign.

On Sunday, they were filming at Tweedmouth’s Auction House and Antique Centre Berwick. It was the culmination of a busy weekend for the centre, which hosted a live music event the previous day.
