Advice on how to stay warm and save money during a cold snap

Residents are being given advice on how to stay warm during a cold snap.

With predictions showing February could be the coldest on record, E.ON is encouraging people to think how they can stay warm and cosy, as well as energy efficient.

Tips include lowering your thermostat by 1C, using smart thermostats, bleeding radiators that do not heat up rooms, not covering or blocking radiators, making sure your boiler is efficiently working, insulating walls and fitting energy efficient light bulbs.
