A strong case of over-optimism

Prior to recycling my copy of Northumberland's Local Plan Core Strategy, binned by the incoming Conservative administration, I glanced through some of its many pages.

In its Spatial Portrait of Northumberland – Opportunities And Challenges section I came across the following: “A new £25million state-of-the art hospital for Berwick-upon-Tweed will be built by 2017. The new hospital will bring health and social care together, proving (providing, surely) better overall care to patients.”

Surely, a case of sadly misplaced over-optimism that is difficult to match.
